Passage 3. If, during the winter, one omitted the words מוֹרִיד הַגֶּשֶׁם even if the words מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ were said, the Amidah must be repeated from the beginning. true Passage 4. However, if מוֹרִיד הַטָּל was said one need not begin again. true Passage 5. This rule applies only if one concluded the entire blessing and began the next one. If, however, one realized before concluding the blessing, then מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ should be said at that point. true Passage 6. If one realized the error after concluding the blessing, but before beginning אַתָּה קָדוֹשׁ, it should be inserted there (without repeating בָּרוּךְ...מְחַיֵּה הַמֵּתִים). He then proceeds with אַתָּה קָדוֹשׁ. true Passage 7. If, during the summer, one is doubtful whether מוֹרִיד הַגֶּשֶׁם was mistakenly said—if this occurred during the first thirty days of the summer, presumably one did err, since one is accustomed to reciting this text throughout the winter, and consequently the Amidah must be repeated. true Passage 8. After thirty days one need not repeat it, for since one is accustomed to say it correctly, it can be assumed that this time, too, the correct phrase was recited. true heading HAMELECH HAKADOSH AND HAMELECH HAMISHPAT Passage 1. Throughout the year, הָאֵל הַקָּדוֹשׁ is said in concluding the third blessing, and מֶלֶךְ אוֹהֵב צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט concluding the eleventh blessing, except during the Ten Days of Penitence: when הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ and הַמֶּלֶךְ הַמִּשְׁפָּט are substituted. true Passage 2. If one erred and said הָאֵל הַקָּדוֹשׁ, or if one is in doubt whether הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ was said—if the error was realized only after the time it takes to utter the words "Shalom Aleichem Rabbi," or after beginning the next blessing, the Amidah must be repeated. true Passage 3. If the error is realized sooner, הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ is said at that point. true Passage 4. The same applies to הַמֶּלֶךְ הַמִּשְׁפָּט, if the error was quickly realized. However, if one realized only after that interval or after beginning the next blessing, the Amidah need not be repeated. However, after concluding the Amidah, it is appropriate to repeat it as a "Tefillat Nedavah" (voluntary prayer). true heading BERACHAH/TAL UMATAR LIVRACHA Passage 1. During the winter, beginning with Maariv of the evening before the 5th of December (in the year preceding a solar leap year, on the evening before the 6th), וְתֵן טַל וּמָטָר לִבְרָכָה is said in the blessing בָּרֵךְ עָלֵינוּ. It is said through Minchah of Erev Pesach. true Passage 2. If one said וְתֵן טַל וּמָטָר לִבְרָכָה after the first day of Pesach—whether he became aware of his error before or after completing the blessing—he must repeat from the beginning of the blessing. If the error was realized after concluding subsequent blessings, he must return to the beginning of בָּרֵךְ עָלֵינוּ and repeat all subsequent blessings. true Passage 3. If, during the winter, one did not say וְתֵן טַל וּמָטָר לִבְרָכָה, even if he only omitted the word וּמָטָר, and remembered his omission before beginning תְּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר, it should be said there. true Passage 4. If the error was realized after beginning תְּקַע בְּשׁוֹפָר but before concluding the blessing שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה, it should be said in the blessing שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה. true Passage 5. If the error was realized after concluding שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה but before beginning רְצֵה, he may say it there and then continue רְצֵה, and it is considered as if he had said it within the blessing of שׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה. true Passage 6. If the error was realized after beginning רְצֵה but before יִהְיוּ לְרָצוֹן at the end of אֱלֹהַי נְצֹר, he should repeat from the blessing בָּרֵךְ עָלֵינוּ; if, however, he had already said יִהְיוּ לְרָצוֹן, he must repeat from the beginning of the Amidah. true heading YAALEH VEYAVO Passage 1.
