Satisfy my wishes and give what I ask for, to me—Your servant the son/daughter of Your maidservant, [your name] the son/daughter of [your mother's name]—and give me (add as appropriate: and my wife/son/sons/daughter/daughters) the privilege to do Your will whole-heartedly. Save us from the evil inclination, and give us the ability to learn our portion in Your Torah. Give us the privilege of having Your Divine Presence rest within us. Bring a spirit of wisdom and understanding upon us, and may the following verse, written in Isaiah, be fulfilled through us: And the spirit of the Lord will rest upon Mashiach—the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of good advice and strength, and the spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
