"text": "1 The forty-two words in this prayer correspond to God's forty-two-letter name. One reason why it is said here, after the description of the daily service in the Temple, is to commemorate the fact that when the Kohanim would bless the nation as part of their daily service, they would recite this forty two-letter name. Another reason is that this prayer contains a request to God to save us from exile. We say it at this point, having just described the daily service of the Temple, in the hope that we will be able to participate in it once again.",
