סדר קריאת התורה

Israeli: ' marks a reduced vowel that Israeli speech drops (b'rachah); when the vowel is pronounced it is written e (lefanecha). - separates syllables that would otherwise run together.

How to read the transliterations
Hatzi Kaddish is recited before the maftir aliyah is called to the Torah.

וְיַמְלִיךְ מַלְכוּתֵהּ בְּחַיֵּיכוֹן וּבְיוֹמֵיכוֹן וּבְחַיֵּי דְכָל־בֵּית
יִשְׂרָאֵל, בַּעֲגָלָא וּבִזְמַן קָרִיב, וְאִמְרוּ אָמֵן.

yitgadal veyitkadash sh'meh raba, be-alma di v'ra, kiruteh,
veyamlich malchuteh b'chayeichon uvyomeichon uvechayei d'chol-beit
Yisra-el, ba-agala uvizman kariv, ve-imru Amen.
English
May God’s great name be exalted and hallowed throughout the created world, as is God’s wish. May God’s sovereignty soon be established, in your lifetime and in your days, and in the days of all the house of Israel. And we say: Amen.

May the name of the Holy One be acknowledged and celebrated, lauded and worshipped, exalted and honored, extolled and acclaimed—though God, who is blessed, b’rikh hu, is truly [on Shabbat Shuvah we add: far] beyond all acknowledgment and praise, or any expressions of gratitude or consolation ever spoken in the world. And we say: Amen.

Lifting the Torah

Two individuals are called to raise and tie the Sefer Torah after it is read. As the Torah is lifted, we rise and recite:

וְזֹאת הַתּוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר שָׂם מֹשֶׁה לִפְנֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל
עַל פִּי יְהוָה בְּיַד מֹשֶׁה.
Israeli
vezot hatorah asher sam Mosheh lifnei b'nei Yisra-el
al pi Adonai b'yad Mosheh.
English
This is the Torah, God’s word by Moses’ hand, which Moses set before the people Israel.
